On the Ballot

On November 6th we will be voting for a slate of Democratic candidates in Chippewa County. But who will be on the ballot and who should I vote for. If you want change in your state and national governments then first you just simply must vote and get everyone you know to do the same; and secondly you must vote for every Democratic candidate on the ballot.

It is not enough to vote for the candidates at the top of the ballot, like Tammy Baldwin and Tony Evers. You will hear a lot about them on TV, in the newspapers, and all over social media. But change starts at the local level so voting for all local Democratic candidates on the ballot is equally as vital.

It is your responsibility to know who those candidates are, and when you find out about them and meet them , you will realize we have some of the finest people running for these positions that you can imagine!

So voting for all your great County Candidates, Legislative Candidates (State Senate and Assembly), Statewide Candidates (Governor, Lt Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, and Treasurer) , and of course our Congressional Candidates (U.S. Senator and U.S. House of Representatives) will insure that progressive values, our values, will be successful in November. We can dominate this election if we vote all the way down the ballot!

The following information explains, in general terms, who may be on your ballot. To see the actual maps of the districts you can go to http://legis.wisconsin.gov/ltsb/gis/maps/ or stop by the Chippewa County Democratic Party office to see the maps and chat with someone about any, or all, of these great candidates.

1. If you live in the Chippewa Falls and generally south of Hwy 29 you are in the 3rd Congressional District. Ron Kind is your Representative.

2. If you live north of the Chippewa Falls city limits and generally north of Hwy 29 you will be in the 7th Congressional District. Help Margaret Engebretson be your Representative.

3. In the 67th State Assembly District your boundaries are generally the City of Chippewa Falls and everything north of Hwy 29. Wren Keturi is absolutely the best choice here!
