Joint Finance Committee Budget Hearing in Eau Claire 3/27/09

Budget hearing scheduled for UW-Eau Claire
campus on March 27th
MADISON – The
co-chairs of the state legislature’s Joint
Finance Committee has announced that they will
hold a public hearing on the state budget in
Eau Claire on Friday, March 27th. The
hearing will be held at the Haas Fine Arts
Center on the UW-Eau Claire campus from 10 a.m.
-4 p.m.
“One of the most important
steps in our state’s budget process is the
series of public hearings that the Joint
Finance Committee holds throughout the state,”
said Senator Pat Kreitlow (D-Chippewa
Falls). “At this hearing the working
families of the Chippewa Valley will have the
chance to voice their concerns directly to the
group of legislators who serve on the committee
that is responsible for writing the state
budget. It’s a great opportunity for our
area and I strongly encourage anyone interested
in the state budget to attend.”
