Democratic Party of Chippewa County Membership Renewal

It’s time to RENEW or JOIN the Democratic Party of Chippewa County for 2010!

Why now? Well, 2010 will be a very busy year for us. Consider all the races taking place just in Chippewa County alone: first, we have the town, village, city, school board, and county board races in April. While they tend to be non-partisan, it is important to support progressive thinking candidates for these positions. At the county level we have races for the Clerk of Courts (Karen Hepfler), Coroner (Katherine Gerrits), and Sheriff (Jim Kowalczck). We have state legislative races in the 67th, 68th (Kristin Dexter) and the 69th Assembly Districts; the 23rd Senate District (Pat Kreitlow); the Governor, Lt. Governor, Secretary of State, State Treasurer, and Attorney General. And, nationally  7th Congressional District Representative Dave Obey and Senator Russ Feingold are up for re-election. All of these races will require a tremendous effort by both the candidates and those who volunteer to help them, and of course, some expenses.

Membership in your local Chippewa County Party will go a long way to help candidates and volunteers be successful. Please join or renew your membership today, and join us for an exciting election year. Thank you.
